This summer has witnessed the exodus of the biggest soccer stars to the Saudi Pro League. After Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar Jr jumped on the bandwagon. While others are happy with the Brazilian’s arrival, Al Nassr, who has been stripped off financially, is begging for equality

The big money moves are being made by all four clubs, i.e. Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, Al Hilal, and Al Ahli—who are all under the financial umbrella of Saudi’s Public Investment Fund. But it seems Al Nassr is not happy with the allocation of funds among all four clubs, following Neymar’s arrival.

Al Hilal recently made a $418 million move for Neymar. However, as per the reports, this isn’t being taken well by Al Nassr, who believes the PIF has allocated more funds to their rivals. Notably, following the money injection from PFI, Al Nassr’s budget allocation started at $66 million and ended at $98 million after Ronaldo’s value was calculated.

On the other hand, the other three clubs( Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, and Al Ahli) were allocated $130 million. Interestingly, Al Hilal signing Neymar saw the difference between the Riyad side and the Jeddah side reach almost $217 million. This forced Al Nassr to make an appeal to the polarization committee. However, they rejected their request under the pretext of changing the calculation from full value to the number of players.

Additionally, the Polarization Committee later agreed to support Al Nassr over Ottavio’s deal, given that they bear the value of Aymeric Laporte. However, despite the latest backing, the margin in support value between Al Nassr and Al Hilal surged to $152 million, marking a substantial advantage in favor of Al Hilal.

Hence, this has forced Al Nassr to advocate for equality and is insisting on an increase in backing. As for now, the committee hasn’t responded to their demands. Surprisingly, they are doing this because they look to replace Talisca with another international star.

The domestic side of Cristiano Ronaldo wants to part ways with Talisca!

In the last two Saudi Pro League fixtures, Al Nassr suffered defeats against both Al Taawoun and Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq. In both these encounters, the team keenly felt the absence of Ronaldo. However, there was also an absence of Anderson Talisca, which has forced the club to part ways with him.

The Brazilian star came from Guangzhou Evergrande, China, in 2021. He played a crucial role within the team, commanding a salary of $3.5 million annually. However, with shifts in management and substantial investments by other Saudi clubs, his standing within the team has been eroded. Despite his impressive record of 43 goals in 61 matches, Talisca’s time with the club seems to be drawing to a close.
