“Strides in Women’s Soccer”- Two-Time World Cup Winner Alex Morgan Dedicates 2023 Tournament to Mommies and Radiates Excitement to Complete Historic 3-Peat

Likewise, she recently spoke about this year’s World Cup while dedicating it to all the athlete moms. “This is my first World Cup as a mom, so I just want to also just represent mom athletes and the accomplishments and strides we’ve been able to make in women’s soccer. I think it is amazing. I’m really excited for this,” she said, as stated by VailDaily.

Morgan herself has an adorable daughter named Charlie. Notably, she stands out not only as a veteran but also as one of three players who are first-time mothers, alongside Julie Ertz and Crystal Dunn. While talking about the World Cup, the San Diego Waves forward insists to like her daughter’s presence in the World Cup.

“It’s pretty special just to have my daughter with me in the environment and with the national team. There’s going to be three moms on the roster, which is great,” Morgan said. “I think that we’ve just made strides in women’s soccer with the support that we’ve gotten from the federation, from our club teams, from coaches and sponsors. So, I think that that all allows us to be able to compete at the highest level.” She added.
