Kylian Mbappe‘s domestic future with Paris Saint-Germain remains topsy-turvy. Over the past few months, speculations about the Frenchman joining Real Madrid have remained in the headlines. But even today, things are clouded with uncertainty. While many have slammed Mbappe, a France legend has come in defense of the striker, insisting that ‘no one would be angry’ even if he leaves the club.

The backing came in the latest installment of the Rothen s’enflamme show, hosted by Jerome Rothen. While discussing Mbappe’s potential move to Los Blancos, Christophe Dugarry succinctly claimed that the Parisian superstar isn’t solely responsible for the ongoing saga. Yet, he still expects an answer from the player. “I think he is responsible if he stops this whole circus quickly…He has to stop. As soon as he knows his decision, he must do it. It will be good for everyone,” said Dugarry, who also demands Kylian Mbappe take action like a professional.

While insisting that the 2018 World Cup winner will give everything for PSG in the remaining two months, Dugarry claims that the Parisians won’t blame Mbappe for his decision. The pundit added that the 25-year-old managed to break ‘unimaginable‘ stats. “Of course, when you are in the Champions League, there’s a little disappointment that he could not go a little further. In particular, he won [other things], but he already went a little further, more often. I think that no one would be angry at him and everyone will understand,” Dugarry concluded.

Even if Kylian Mbappe decides to leave Parc des Princes, it would be interesting to see if Dugarry’s claims turn out to be true. On the other hand, the lethal goalscorer got another round of support from his club’s ambassador.
