Recently Wrexham faced Notts County in an almost must-win encounter. Due to the efforts of all players and a last-minute heroic save from Ben Foster, the Red Dragons came out on top. After the match, where there were a million things to talk about, owner Ryan Reynolds didn’t forget to indirectly be an influence in a common Wrexham story these days.

One particular bakery in Wrexham has been carrying the reputation of Welsh delicacies. The bakery currently has commercial ties in 15 countries and is closely working with Wales as well as the UK governments. According to managing director Robin Jones, the bakery will be tripling its exports this year due to an extensive boost in the demand.

Jones didn’t forget to mention the reason behind this jump in a talk with Wrexham.com. He said, “Thanks to the sprinkling of Hollywood glitter at Wrexham AFC, there’s a real buzz about Wrexham and we want to jump on the bandwagon and export even more of our products“.

The Hollywood glitter is without a doubt a reference to the boost new owners have brought to the club and town. Both owners, on multiple occasions, have talked about the town and how they feel connected with not only the team but the whole town.

These statements and cases are one of the reasons behind the boost of tourism in the town. The biggest reason, however, is the success of ‘Welcome to Wrexham’. It was planned as a marketing influence, and it has achieved more than that. The club now boasts a huge fan following from all around the world.

To the absolute shock of most fans, they sold the away passes out in just three minutes. Taking the overwhelming hype, Wrexham had to issue an official warning to the fans.
