Injuries seem to take a toll on Inter Miami. It was just recently that they lost their star player, Coco Jean, and now another first-team player is currently lying in a hospital bed. This time, it is none other than their goalkeeper, Nick Marsman. While Jean’s injury came on the pitch, this one rather came off the pitch in a weird yet horrifying fashion.

It was just a normal outing day for Marsman and his family, and they decided to go for a zoo visit. However, that didn’t turn out well for the keeper, as he got bitten by a spider (new fear unlocked!). The bite was so bad that he had to be rushed to the hospital and stay there for a few days. Apparently, a poisonous arachnid sunk its teeth into him, as stated by TMZ Sports.

As for Marsman, medical personnel have released the player from the hospital. He currently rests at home. Many of you may be thinking of cracking the classic Spider-Man joke, but it’s obvious he wouldn’t have gotten the powers. However, jokes aside, the Miami keeper is lucky to escape with the severity of his injury.

In fact, we may see Marsman back on the pitch, playing alongside his new teammate, Messi. However, Miami’s star forward won’t be able to play a single match with the World Cup winner due to a season-ending injury.

A few days ago, Inter Miami’s star forward Corentin Jean went off the pitch on a stretcher. As per the club’s official website, Jean suffered an injury to his left anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). The injury occurred during the fixture against the New England Revolution on Saturday, June 10.

With the injury, the club expects the player to remain sidelined for the remainder of the season. Indeed, it is an immense blow for everyone at the club, who will be sad to lose their main man. His injury will also devastate Jean, as he must have been looking forward to partnering up with Messi. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be happening for now.
