MLS star Gareth Bale announces his retirement from soccer at the age of 33. Bale, who is from Wales, started his professional career with the English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. He quickly rose to prominence and became one of the best players in the world.

In 2013, Spanish giants Real Madrid signed him in a then-record deal worth $135 million. At Real Madrid, Bale won five Champions League titles and became a key player for the team.
