The highly anticipated return of Wrexham AFC to the EFL League Two is just around the corner. The fans are gearing up to cheer for the Red Dragons. With 19 days to go for the first game in League Two, Wrexham opened the sale of tickets for the members on Monday morning. And it lasted only for less than an hour!

Yes, you heard it right. Wrexham sold out the tickets within an hour. It seems the Welsh team’s fans are eager to witness the fourth division action, as they waited for the day for 15 years. The club’s faithful are ready to rally for their beloved club, with Wrexham set to start another chapter.

Feverish response to Wrexham AFC’s ticket sale

The Red Dragons released a statement regarding the ticket sale for the MK Dons game at SToK Cae Ras. As per the statement, the ticket sale started at 10 in the morning (UK Time) on Monday. The club also mentioned that the priority window will be open till July 31. Wrexham made the tickets available in-store and through the eTicketing prices. 

The world’s third-oldest soccer club also mentioned the price for tickets as high as $32.7 (offline) and $31.4 (online) for an adult. Also, the club advised the fans to purchase the tickets online to avoid disappointment. But the response shown by the fans was commendable. It took the club less than an hour to release another update. 

As per a newly released statement, the club said, “SOLD OUT! Home tickets for our EFL return against MK Dons are now sold out. Thanks once again for your support.”

 It would be a game to cherish for those who will witness from the stands of Cae Rac. The atmosphere is going to be incredible on the home ground that served as a fortress for the Reds in their promotion and league-winning campaign.

Can The Reds repeat the SToK Cae Rac heroics?

Racecourse Ground, now known as SToK Cae Rac for sponsorship reasons, served as a springboard for the Reds last season. Wrexham won 22 of their 23 league games at their home ground in 2022-23, drawing one game. Phil Parkinson’s side scored 74 goals (64%) on Cae Rac.

Moreover, they scored in every home game last season, with an average of 3.22 goals per game. Wrexham managed ten clean sheets on Cae Rac. The home ground was a fortress for the Reds. Parkinson and his players will look to keep their home record intact when MK Dons’ visit Cae Rac on August 5.
