Ex-Premier League soccer player Greg Halford is in the news for sharing a video on social media of throwing his ex-girlfriend’s belongings out of the window. The former Sunderland and Wolves player mocked his ex through the video.

Halford made 29 appearances in the Premier League for Reading, Sunderland, and Wolves. The former Colchester United defender, who is used to taking throw-ins on the field, made good use of the quality off-the-field in tossing his unfaithful girlfriend’s stuff.

Former EPL player shares a video of throwing the belongings of his ex

Halford shared a clip in which he throws several shoe boxes, amongst other items, from the window, on social media. He captioned the post“Been far far too long but finally clearing out the cheating c**t ex stuff.” 

The clip by the defender so far has gotten over a million views, and his followers have also reacted to the post. Fans find the bike thrown out of the window too small for his ex and are letting him know the same. Some think the player has thrown all the empty boxes out of a window in the garden. 

Halford’s action is a big message for his ex as it brutally mocks her for cheating. The Colchester United graduate currently plays for the Hashtag United, owned by YouTuber Spencer Owen. Meanwhile, his viral social media clip is making soccer fans know more about him.

A glance at Greg Halford’s career

Halford is currently a semi-professional soccer player, who plays for the Hashtag United club. The club plays in Isthmian League North Division, the English 8th-tier league. Halford is a Colchester United graduate and played for the senior team for five seasons.

He has played for over 15 clubs in his career. The former Colchester defender last played in the professional league in the 2020-21 season with Southend United. Halford made his Premier League debut with Reading in 2007 as a substitute. However, the player only made three appearances for Reading in the Premier League before moving to Sunderland the same year.

Of the 29 appearances in the Premier League, three came at Reading, nine at Sunderland, and the remaining 17 at Wolves. All these appearances came between 2007 to 2011. However, he also had two loan stints during this time to the Championship clubs. The player never scored in the Premier League or won any major trophy in his career.
