Following the Red Dragon’s promotion, the community heard the sad news. Recently, a Wrexham fan, Lauren Kelsall, shared heartbreaking news, as her grandfather, who was a lifelong Wrexham fan, tragically passed away. Kelsall shared the news on Twitter.
She shared pictures of her grandfather and wrote, “My grandad. Lifelong Wrexham AFC fan. Today was the hardest goodbye but I’m pretty sure you were only holding on to hear that Wrexham finally made it back to the EFL. A bittersweet promotion. Forever my hero, I love you x.”
