Who is Tyler Heaps?

Although he isn’t a soccer player, Tyler Heaps seems like quite an enthusiast of the sport. Along with his mathematics degree, he has obtained the USSF National ‘E’ coaching license. That was in 2013. He then ventured on his journey into the vast soccer universe. He started off as a soccer coach at the Minnesota Thunder Academy. After that, he joined the NASL as a Game Day statistician.

During that time, he also worked at St. Catherine University and Woodbury Soccer Club as a soccer coach. That’s when a big opportunity knocked on his door. He went on to spend over five years at the US Soccer Federation. His final and most senior position was the Director of Sporting Analytics until Feb 2021. After that, he moved to France to become the Head of Sporting Technology & Insights at AS Monaco.
