Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to share his reactions to the match. He wrote, “Everything I own smells like champagne, beer, and grass. I’m still somewhere between giggling and sobbing. This town and this sport is one of the most romantic things on earth. Thank you, @Wrexham_AFC.” Yesterday he proved one of the statements he made months back.

A ‘frothy, rabies infused’ fan

To mark his passion for the game, back when he opened up about owning an NHL team Reynolds said, “If we progress with the Ottawa Senators I will be a frothy, rabies-infused fan the likes of which the NHL has never seen..”.

Reynolds and even NHL are considering repeating the success of Wrexham in the NHL. He is a part of the ownership group that has made a bid for the team.
