It’s been two weeks of extremes for Brazilian soccer star Neymar. The Al Hilal forward surpassed Brazil legend Pele’s goal-scoring record for the Selecao earlier this month. However, recently Neymar has reportedly been sanctioned by local authorities in Brazil. The soccer icon has reportedly been fined approximately $3.3 million for violating environmental regulations. Now, in a recent turn of events, Neymar wants the Brazilian authorities to issue an apology.
The reported infractions that took place during the construction of Neymar’s mansion in the city of Mangaratiba, included the construction of an artificial lake, river water diversion, earth movement, and vegetation suppression. But now, as per recent reports, Neymar’s representatives have asked for an apology from the municipality of the Brazilian city.

Following the former PSG forward’s groundbreaking achievement of eclipsing Pele’s goal tally for Brazil, the sports brand Puma created a custom pair of boots for the forward.
The boots, called the ‘NJR 78 Future’, have depictions of a young Neymar drawn on one boot and his current look on the other.
