Several media experts had the opinion that the lucrative, friendly tours would benefit Inter Miami financially. There is no doubt that the prediction has gone right. However, at the expense of earning money, the Herons are losing players individually. After the injury concerns of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, the MLS side has seen another star player join the treatment table. According to journalist Michelle Kaufman, the 25-year-old forward Robbie Robinson returned to the US to treat his calf injury.

It is not yet clear whether the calf injury is serious or not. To add more salt to the wounds of the Inter Miami fans, after Robbie Robinson, there has been one more injury issue. Star midfielder Sergio Busquets also left the field in the friendly against Vissel Kobe in the 25th minute. He was seen limping towards the tunnel. It looks like the former Spanish international went down because of an ankle injury.

It will be interesting to see how the Herons deal with the latest two injuries for the short term. As far as the other five injured players are concerned, signs are not looking exemplary for most of them.

The Herons could have an entirely different side in the first game of the season

Recent updates on the recovery time of several injured Inter Miami stars are not looking good at all. The number one concern remains Lionel Messi. At the moment, his thigh inflammation injury does not look serious as he played against Al Nassr for the last seven minutes. On the other hand, Luis Suarez has started against Vissel Kobe. It indicates his full recovery from the knee inflammation issue. However, the medical staff will keep a close eye because of the history of the injury to the forward.

On the other hand, it is season over for Argentinian forward Facundo Farias as he starts his recovery from his ACL injury. Star midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi will also take 2-3 months after undergoing surgery for his sports hernia injury. There is more clarity expected on the situation of injured center-back Serhiy Kryvtsov, who suffered an injury in the friendly against Hong Kong XI.
