The contract extension with PSG drew angry reactions from most of the fans, especially that of Real Madrid. He was not short of support too when his decision to stay came. Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently spoke on the Mbappe saga that unfolded and wasn’t happy about his parents with the way they handled the situation.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has some stern words for Kylian Mbappe’s entourage

In his recent interview with Canal Plus, Ibrahimovic discussed various aspects of Mbappe’s decision to stay. He loves Mbappe as a player and wants him to have the discipline to achieve great success.

Although Ibrahimovic was full of praise for the player, he wasn’t happy with his entourage. Mbappe’s parents are the ones who act as the player’s agents. He thinks his parents should have handled the situation in a better way.

Ibrahimovic said, “You are never bigger than your club, but when a child becomes strong, he can easily produce income, so his parents become lawyers, agents, and coaches. That’s the problem, and when that happens you lose control of who you are and your identity. With this new generation the parents think they have become stars, they even talk in the newspapers, but who do they think they are?”

Ibrahimovic thinks Mbappe has made the right choice for PSG but not for himself. He wants the player to surround himself with those who say you need to improve. It will make the player the best in the world.
