Inter Miami has made an early exit from the MLS playoffs after their defeat against FC Cincinnati. Lionel Messi will be out of the game for around 4 months until the next season kicks off. Meanwhile, the Herons are planning to organize friendly matches in Asia. As per new plans made, the Florida club will be heading to face teams from the Chinese Super League.

Many clubs are trying to sign Lionel Messi until the next MLS season starts. Saudi Arabia is the most interested candidate as of now. Barcelona can also try and make a move for the Argentinean. Gerardo Martino although has dismissed any such move.

The teams, dates, and venue have been finalized and Inter Miami will now soon be leaving for their Asian endeavor. Lionel Messi will be part of the squad heading to Asia. The matches have been fixed considering that the Chinese Super League concludes in November.

Inter Miami’s first match will be against Qingdao Hainiu F.C. in Qingdao, China on November 5th at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium. Their next and final match will be against Chengdu Rongcheng in Chengdu, China on November 8th at the Phoenix Hill Sports Park. The details regarding the ticket sales and other related information will be made public in the coming weeks, according to Inter Miami’s official website.

Inter Miami’s CBO, Xavier Asensi, spoke on the tour plans as he said, “We’re very excited to continue to expand our Club’s global reach, bringing our team to play in front of incredible fans across the globe. This is a special opportunity to share the passion as we reach new audiences and put ourselves on display in new places, and we’re looking forward to beginning this adventure”.

Meanwhile, Lionel Messi will now be heading to Peru for Argentina’s upcoming qualifying match. La Albiceleste won their last match against Paraguay scoring just one goal. Argentina will have to keep a win to top the group as Brazil inches closer.
