Muller’s record for Bayern speaks for itself with 215 goals in 640 games for the German heavyweights with 144 of those goals coming in the Bundesliga and 53 in the UEFA Champions League. He is widely regarded as one of Germany’s most lethal strikers in the country’s history. However, he hasn’t surpassed the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo has nearly three times more international goals as compared to Muller, after netting his 124th and 125th goals for Portugal last night against Slovakia.

The current Al Nassr star scored a penalty after Slovakia’s Denis Vavro conceded a penalty. Ronaldo slotted home in fine fashion to score his 124th goal. Subsequently, Ronaldo’s second goal of the night, his 125th goal for Portugal saw him combine with his former Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes, whose cross the Al Nassr star turned into the net.
