Mancini following his spell with Italy will now serve as the manager for Saudi Arabia’s national team that will see him take home a massive $22 million per year.

The former Manchester City manager is one of the most coveted managers across Italian football. Mancini has taken multiple teams to success and his move to Saudi came off as a big surprise to fans. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mancini has reached an agreement with the Saudi Arabian national side that will see him serve as their manager for 3 years.

Saudi Arabia is doing all it can to transform their soccer space, with the Saudi Pro League as one of the hottest leagues across the planet. With Mancini now leading the national team, the team will hope to clinch the Asian silverware title after a long wait of twenty-seven years.

But he now has quickly accepted the Italian federation’s request to serve as the national team’s manager. The former Napoli manager will start his new stint starting the first of September and will hope to get things back on track.
