However, his wife has not garnered too many kind responses. Victoria Beckham has been under the scanner following the show’s release, with multiple fans questioning moments from the docuseries. The controversy just rose to the next level after a Dutch soccer legend slammed the former Spice Girl and accused her of being a ‘complainer’.

Dutch soccer legend slams Victoria Beckham’s character

Former Dutch legend Rene van der Gijp on the recent episode of his podcast touched down on David Beckham’s Netflix docuseries. ‘Beckham’ has gathered a lot of attention and Gijp appreciates the Englishman for showcasing the ‘heavy’ stuff. He quoted, “But I have to be very honest, if I sit for five hours watching a documentary about a soccer player with his wife, and people around him, and I can’t smile even once in those five hours, I think it’s heavy stuff. I thought it was really heavy stuff.”

Gijp then gave his thoughts on the power couple. He added that he felt that David Beckham was a nice guy. However, the Dutchman was not as polite when it came to talking about the former soccer player’s wife. “I thought Beckham was a nice guy, not much wrong with her. I thought she was a terrible whiner,” Van der Gijp said of Victoria Beckham.

“That chick on the couch, just sitting around complaining, complaining, complaining… At one point, I just detested her. I thought she was a complainer, that b*tch. What a terrible broad, ah was a terrible broad.” However, it wasn’t only Gijp who was not too happy with Victoria Beckham.
