However, it’s now starting to get embarrassing for the Barcelona soccer legend. Recently, Pique appeared on an award show. It got extremely embarrassing because the fans started booing Pique after he appeared on camera.

Shakira has been absolutely ruthless with the lyrics of her new diss track. Apart from Pique, she’s also targeted his mother and his new girlfriend. Moreover, Shakira’s fans do not seem like the quiet ones too. The fans take each and every opportunity to stick it in Pique’s face.

Pique gladly accepted the invitation to the award show. However, the soccer legend joined the award show virtually through Twitch. The audience immediately started booing the Spaniard after he appeared on the screen. Gerard Pique tried to speak louder over the noise to make his point. However, the fans booing him was too evident and it later got embarrassing. Pique is currently in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. This is not the first time Pique has been ridiculed in public.

A few days ago, NBA fans made fun of Pique. The Barcelona soccer legend had gone to watch an NBA game live. However, all of a sudden, the fans started loudly singing lines from Shakira’s diss track. At first, Pique was minding his own business. However, a few seconds later, it got too embarrassing for the star to sit among hundreds of people taunting him.

His new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti started to face these issues as soon as Shakira dropped the new song. She complained about being too uncomfortable in public spaces. Fans reportedly questioned her about Gerard Pique at random. The fans recently discovered that Marti has also been taking medical support to get over her anxiety attacks because of the diss track.

Gerard Pique’s mother, Montserrat Bernabeu also publicly expressed her disappointment in Shakira. Montserrat claimed that she always tried to make the relationship work between Shakira and Pique and the diss track drama was uncalled for. To make things even worse, she revealed a heart-breaking fact that her grandchildren do not consider her their grandmother anymore.
