The Shakira-Pique breakup story has really taken the world by storm. Ever since the power couple broke up in June 2022, there’s always been a new controversy and new piece of information surrounding the story. And the recent one with Shakira’s ex-mother-in-law is definitely an interesting one.
Shakira recently released a track in which she takes Aim at Gerard Pique and his new partner Clara Chia. In one of her lyrics, Shakira said “You left me the mother-in-law as a neighbor.” referring to Pique’s mother who lives next to the house in which the couple used to live. Now the Colombian singer is living in that home with her kids.

Shakira watches over Gerard Pique’s mother through a witch
Shakira has been making headlines for her recent strange behavior. That included leaving a very creepy doll on her balcony. The witch doll, which is dressed in all black with a pointy hat, has been on Shakira’s balcony for the past three months.

And in case there was any doubt about her intentions, Shakira has also been blasting her diss track, “Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions 53,” through the speakers. She used to have a good relationship with Pique’s mother. But things changed when she was quick to accept Pique’s love interest.
Shakira is clearly still upset about the situation and is making her feelings known in her own unique way. While some may see the Colombian singer as a controversial figure, others admire her for her fearless attitude and willingness to stand up for herself.

Shakira’s diss track has been a resounding success
The ‘Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions 53’ which was just supposed to be a diss track at ex-partner Gerard Pique has really taken the world by storm. The song quickly topped the Spotify Top 50 global charts. And has so far amassed over 110 million views on YouTube. And also became the most-viewed Latin song in 24 hours with 63 million views.

The commercial success of the track is a much-needed boost for Shakira. As she has been embroiled in a number of legal and personal problems in recent months. With this, the Colombian superstar has once again proved that she is a force to be reckoned with.
