Over the last few months, Shakira has been in the limelight because of her constant digs at Gerard Pique. The Colombian singer has honestly had no mercy on her former partner and his family members. While the fans were trying to decode the ‘one word’, one Spanish musician joined the fans in support of Shakira in the comments section.
What ‘wordless’ appreciation did Shakira receive?
A week ago, Shakira posted quite a cryptic message for her fans on social media. It is safe to say that her Instagram post left quite a few fans scratching their head. The Colombian singer posted a picture of herself wearing a neat black hat. As the caption, she wrote, “Chiaroscuro”. After endless discussions on public forums, the most popular thought about the same was that this was a subtle dig against Clara Chia Marti.

As per popular opinion, the word ‘Chiaroscuro’ means the contrasts between light and dark. In the picture, the singer has placed herself in a very strategic way. Only half of her face is brightly lit by the sunlight. Also, she could have been trying to tell Pique that there is a stark difference between Clara Chia Marti and herself.

While the fans were trying to decode the message in the comments section, Alejandro Sanz entered the chat too. Instead of breaking his head over the caption of the Instagram post, the Grammy Award winner simply left a ‘wordless’ message for Shakira. He just typed a ‘wolf’ emoji and posted the comment.
This begs the question, what did Alejandro Sanz’s comment really mean?
Shakira’s diss track was full of analogies
Through her diss track, Shakira made quite a lot of references to her broken relationship with Gerard Pique. She made several comparisons and analogies too. Here are some of them, “I’m worth two 22-year-olds. You traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded in a Rolex for a Casio”, as per Genius. Lines like these set the entire music industry on fire.

She also made a wolf reference in the diss track. The line was, “A wolf like me isn’t for guys like you”. The fans have called the Latin American singer a wolf many a time. Her ability and willingness to take care of her young children and aging parents have determined that she isn’t afraid of change and new beginnings. Through the wolf comment, Sanz seemingly wanted to pay tribute to the singer’s efforts to start a new life from scratch all by herself.
