Morocco pulled off the impossible against Portugal in the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup. The North African side brushed past Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal with a 1-0 win. Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri scored the sole goal of the game for Morocco in the first half of the game.
It was more than enough to help Morocco reach the semi-finals of the World Cup for the very first time. Popular pop singer Shakira is also a huge soccer fan for obvious reasons. She reacted to Morocco’s win over Portugal.

Shakira is from Colombia. However, Colombia failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar after losing in the qualifiers. But as Colombia is not in the World Cup, she hasn’t expressed her support to any team.
Shakira reacts to Morocco’s shocking win over Portugal at FIFA World Cup
Shakira became famous in the soccer world after her ‘Waka Waka’ song from the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The song is still very popular and remains one of the best FIFA WC anthems of all time. She recently penned down her reaction to Morocco’s shocking win.

Morocco has been the dark horse of the ongoing World Cup. They are among the best teams in Africa. However, not many predicted them to make a deep run in the soccer World Cup in Qatar.
Morocco will now play the first semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup in its nation’s history when they take on the winners of France vs England. It’ll surely be an interesting matchup.
