BZRP Music Sessions #53, a diss track by Shakira, is making noise and helping the singer to keep on the top streamed lists. Spotify’s recent February 4 top global list shows the pop star featured at #7 in the most streamed list. It has sent the fans of the singer crazy.

The Colombian featured ahead of BTS and Miley Cyrus, with Beyonce not even in the top 10. San Benito, Taylor Swift, and The Weekend made it to the top three of the list on February 4. Shakira was streamed over 22.6 million times and was in the 9th spot a day earlier. 

Fans react to Shakira topping global streaming list

A Twitter handle released the data from Spotify for the 4th of February, where Shakira was #7 on the most streamed global list. One fan wrote, “Shakira is unstoppable,” in a reply. Shakira is getting all this popularity and streaming for her diss track directed at her ex Gerard Pique. 

One fan wrote having Shakira at #7 on the global list makes her the most streamed Latin singer, while others labeled her as Queen. Fans are happy to see Shakira’s singing career getting back after the troublesome phase of her life is behind her. It will be interesting to see whether Shakira keeps making the top charts with a diss track. 

BZRP Music Sessions #53 has now crossed 274 million views on YouTube and was made to take a dig at cheating Pique by Shakira with Argentine Bizarrap last month. The song was #2 on the top global songs on Spotify on February 4. It also hit #1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart on February 4 and now has topped nine US Billboard charts.

The diss track is making rounds amidst the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, where Beyonce, who appeared in a collaboration with the Colombian in 2007 for Beautiful Liar song, became the singer with the most Grammy awards.

Beyonce had the most nominations for the 65th Grammy Awards, with nine in total. She made history by winning the 32nd Grammy, the most by any artist. Beyonce picked up Grammys for best R&B song of the year, best dance/electronic album, best traditional R&B performance, and best dance/electronic recording for Break My Soul this year.

Beyonce and Shakira came together in 2007 to release a collaboration song named Beautiful Liar. It was a collaboration born out of mutual respect between the two for their arts. Beyonce performed Beautiful Liar for the first time in 15 years last month in Dubai. It surprised her fans. Only time will tell whether the two again come together for another collab or not.
