Gerard Pique facing harsh critics for past actions

In a recent interview, Martin did not hold back when discussing the relationship between Pique and Shakira. He labeled Pique as a “despicable being,” highlighting the pain and disappointment that Shakira must have felt upon discovering his infidelity.

Martin emphasized saying, “What happened is that Shakira had a blindfold. She trusted, she was super in love, she never thought that this betrayal was going to happen and the truth has given me grief this last year”. He further added, “Imagine her disappointment. A truncated life, two precious children”.

Martin went on to express his concerns for Pique’s current girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, who he recently labeled as a ‘victim’. The journalist suggested that Pique will repeat his actions and betray her as well. In his words, “This guy will come back and do it to Clara Chia. What he has done to Shakira he will do to Clara Chia; that must be clear”.

This prediction is a damning indictment of Pique’s character, insinuating that he has a pattern of infidelity and cannot be trusted in relationships. And the recent shocking revelation from Shakira only adds to this.

Gerard Pique cheated on Shakira while her father was in the ICU

During a recent interview, Shakira discussed a difficult period in her life. Not only was her father critically ill in the ICU after a serious fall, but news of Pique’s infidelity became public knowledge. Shakira shared, “Everything happened at once. My home was falling apart”.

She went on to reveal that she discovered the betrayal in the media while her father was fighting for his life in intensive care. The situation felt overwhelming, and Shakira admitted, “I thought I wasn’t going to survive so much”. Currently, her father is in recovery following critical brain surgery in Colombia. It indeed was a difficult time for the Pop icon.
