Shakira Echoes Taylor Swift Whilst Throwing Major Shade on Gerard Pique’s New Girlfriend Clara Chia Marti

In recent times, Shakira has indirectly been extremely critical of her ex-boyfriend, Gerard Pique’s new relationship. The Latin American singer doesn’t leave any chance to throw shade at Pique and his new girlfriend. The former FC Barcelona defender and his close ones have now sadly become a laughingstock on social media. Shakira’s new diss track has also added to the soccer legend’s respect dropping amongst his own fans. In a recent interview, Shakira quoted a famous Taylor Swift line in response to Pique’s new relationship.

Through her new diss tracks and interviews, the Colombian star has had no mercy on Pique and his actions from the past.

Shakira recently did a ‘tell-all’ interview recently with Canal Estrellas. During that interview, she spoke about every aspect of her personal and professional life. Additionally, she also spilled the beans about how she felt regarding her ex-boyfriend’s new relationship. The interview went viral even before it aired. The simple reason is that Shakira quoted an ever-green Taylor Swift line in the teaser video.

The Colombian singer assertively said, “There is a place in hell reserved for women who don’t support other women”. Fans were stunned after hearing this line and grasped what exactly it meant. The Grammy Award winner was seemingly throwing major shade on Clara Chia Marti, Pique’s new partner. The fans also recognized the Taylor Swift reference, too.

Back in 2013, Taylor Swift was enjoying mainstream success with record-breaking albums one after the other. Whilst on her national magazine tour, she said, “Katie Couric is one of my favorite people. Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved”. The quote was, “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women”, as per Vulture.

The fans have gone absolutely berserk after hearing the Colombian duo’s new track. The FC Barcelona legend and his new better half have to still comment on the same.

Around a month ago, reports suggested that Chia Marti wasn’t handling the public backlash too well. Shakira’s diss track with Bizarrap caused her health to deteriorate. The 23-year-old was reportedly rushed to the hospital too because of her frequent panic attacks. As a result, Gerard Pique might stay away from commenting on any of her ex-girlfriend’s shots at them this time.
