Al Nassr skipper Cristiano Ronaldo reached an elite milestone last night. The Portuguese superstar was on top of his game against Al Ittihad as he bagged a brace against the former Saudi Pro League champions. With the feat to his name, Ronaldo is now the highest scorer in a single season of the Saudi Pro League. The record also saw the Al Nassr skipper become the only player to win the Golden Boot award in four different leagues.

Cristiano Ronaldo acknowledged his milestone by taking to his Instagram account to thank his ex-teams and teammates. The Al Nassr skipper stated, “Proud to make history as the first top scorer in 4 countries 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇪🇸 🇮🇹 🇸🇦 A huge thank you to all the clubs, teammates and staff who helped me along the way.”

Despite failing to get his hands on major silverware, the striker continued to fire his team to the next level, with 44 goals across all competitions. Cristiano has excelled in his role at Al Nassr following his disastrous breakup with Manchester United and Juventus. It seems like the player is willing to mend the broken bridges. However, things won’t be easy as the Bianconeri looks set to drag the player to court, yet again. Talk about a headache!

Cristiano Ronaldo is still in dispute with his former employers

Cristiano Ronaldo is exemplary at a lot of things. However, unlike Sam Smith, being positive for farewell comes last on the list. The Al Nassr skipper had a rude awakening in his final year at Manchester United. Ronaldo slammed the Red Devil’s head coach and boss on his way out claiming the club did not respect his time.

His tenure with Juventus was no different, as the striker forced his way out of the club, putting them in a financial crisis. While it might seem farfetched, Cristiano Ronaldo’s lavish wages put a massive strain on Juventus’ balance books, with the club still owing the player money.

Cristiano sued Juventus for holding back on his wages in 2022, an accusation the club denies to this date. However, a court in Turin ruled in Cristiano’s favor last month claiming the Bianconeri need to pay CR7 the missing amount. While Cristiano might be delighted with the decision, Juventus is expected to challenge it as they seek refuge in the CAS. Only time will tell if the governing body sticks with the original decision or rules in Juventus’ favor.
