What is the ‘Kings League’?

This 12-team competition was established by well-known soccer stars, streamers, and gamers from across the world. Each team has a squad of 12 players. The games will be 7-a-side, unlike the usual 11. In November, Pique and the other founding members of this league organized a draft live on Twitch. This was to fill up the 12 teams with ten soccer players each.

However, the 11th and 12th players are not regular players. The 11th player could be an ex-soccer player or even a current soccer player. The only catch is that the 11th player cannot change throughout the season, while the 12th player can change from week to week.
