It has been just over a month since Shakira took her kids to Miami. This marked the next phase in the split saga between her and Gerard Pique, which has been ongoing for months. Adding to the saga’s intricacies, Pique recently made a short trip to Miami to meet his children.

For Pique, this reunion went far beyond that of a typical vacation. While his trip lasted only five to six days, it was filled with some unpleasantries. The press in the city treated him rather harshly as made abundantly clear by Colombian streamer Juan Guanriz. Recently, the popular streamer, who is also the president of Aniquiladores FC in Pique’s Kings League highlighted this incident during a stream.

On a recent Among Us stream with fellow presidents from the Kings League, Guarnizo took time to condemn the Miami media’s treatment of Pique. “What the press did to Piqué in Miami was disgusting,” said Guarnizo. Clearly moved by Pique’s courage to withstand such scrutiny from the media, Guarnizo applauded the ex-Barcelona star saying, “I don’t understand how you can be so strong mentally to say nothing”. Guarnizo described the press’ treatment of Pique as “the most invasive, most disgusting paparazzi”.

He further commented on the strength it took for Pique to remain so composed despite such unfortunate circumstances. “You can applaud Gerard Piqué or not, but he must maintain the strength to say nothing, to remain like a statue with such an unpleasant press there,” he continued. “It has its merit, the truth”.

Lastly, he added, “I have seen artists slap a journalist for much less. much less. Obviously, I do not justify it, but it must also be said that journalists deserve at least one insult”.

Pique has had a difficult time, as he has been under public scrutiny for months now. However, going by Guarnizo’s words, he managed to stay silent with nothing but his mental strength and confidence. As the chaotic separation saga between Pique and Shakira is still ongoing, Pique also has moral support from many including this fellow streamer.
