The Holywood duo are often there to support their club as they sit on the stands of the Racecourse Ground. And just like that, once again, they’ll be there on the weekend to attend a historic game.

Hollywood owners back in town

Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney were out of town with, of course, their other works. However, the duo recently announced they’ll be there to attend the historic game on March 26.

Reynolds recently hinted that he will be there to attend the fixture of Wrexham women against Connah’s Quay Nomads. “This Sunday, the Wrexham AFC women take the field at the Racecourse Ground,” he said on his Instagram.

“These women have been astonishing all season. Let’s fill the stands with the spirit of ’78 and belt it out for these heroes… they’ve given their last drop of blood to the town and community all year. See ya there.”

Co-owner, Rob McElhenney also tweeted about urging his fans to watch and support the ladies. “We’ve sold 7,309 tix for the Wrexham AFC women on Sunday. This shatters the record but I’d like to OBLITERATE IT INTO THE DUST OF HISTORY.”

Wrexham continues marching to glory

The fifth division club is continuing to break all the records as they will do on Sunday. The club has broken the record of Cardiff City’s 5,175 attendance. It is indeed a historic game and a significant milestone to achieve.

Moreover, both the owners might be in the house to support the boys against York City. Phil Parkinson’s side will be looking to extend their lead in the league by clinching three important points. Either way, it’s going to be an exciting weekend for both Wrexham fans and the owners.
