As previously mentioned, the right winger has been struggling to find his form at Manchester United and has faced harsh criticism as a result. In a recent interview, Antony specifically called out former club players for unjustly expressing their opinions and influencing fans, even when he was not on the field.
Antony further stated, “But I’ve never seen them give constructive criticism, which will help me be a better professional. None of them have ever sent me a message to see how I am feeling, especially during this period of turbulence that I am going through.” This entire exchange is no doubt disheartening for fans of the club.
