The match was full of notable events, from disallowed goals to physicality. Fans were so crazy during and after the match as they celebrated outside the stadium and trolled some Argentinian fans along the way.

Fan reactions were all over the place

Twitter fans were divided, some were trolling Argentina, some were congratulating Saudi Arabia, and some felt bad for Lionel Messi. This might be the last World Cup for the Argentinian magician. Here are a few fan reactions

Argentina scored 1 goal on a penalty by Lionel Messi in the 10th minute of the game. Apart from that first half went goalless, and the score stood at 1-0 in the favor of the South American giants.

Had Lionel Messi in his pocket

A YouTuber named AJ Shabeel confused the whole Twitter as he posted a photo of a Saudi Arabian player on the field and captioned, “First game for my country and had Messi in my pocket.” It wasn’t him, but many were triggered and started targeting him for being arrogant.

While fans failed to do the due diligence and start targeting Shabeel and Saudi Arabia, a sane twitter user did try to bring everyone to the light saying he is just some YouTuber.
