Tupac’s Series Breaks ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ documentary’s record

Tupac Shakur was one of the most renowned rappers in the history of America. He was one of the most influential rappers and best-selling music artists. The singer was fatally shot in 1996. He may have died, but his greatness still remains today. In fact, it seems Tupac’s eminence has taken over Reynolds and McElhenney’s luster, as his documentary, ‘Dear Mama’ has surpassed the Hollywood owner’s documentary ratings.

The first two episodes of the series premiered on FX and Hulu on April 21. Since then, it has surpassed ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ as FX’s most-watched unscripted debut among cross-platform viewers. Prior to Tupac’s documentary, Reynolds’ series topped the charts with over 271,000 viewers for its first two episodes.

However, around 200,000 people watched the live premiere of Dear Mama, which gave it a significant headstart. The series is also available on Disney+, and it also has a 100% critic rating. Furthermore, the series has a 92% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
