A significant achievement for Wrexham

The arrival of Hollywood stars in Wrexham has made the club quite famous. Besides building recognition for the team, Ryan has helped tremendously in boosting the club’s finances.

According to several reports, Wrexham has made a humongous six-figure sum in just over two months. The Welsh club made over $266,150 worth of revenue thanks to 13,170 subscriptions through their new streaming platform.

Wrexham attained these figures between December 10, and February 7, after Reynolds started National League TV service. The Deadpool star called out the league officials for their bewildering refusal to allow clubs to stream live matches both locally and internationally.

It is indeed a historic moment for the club, as they are enjoying brilliant success this season. They are currently sitting at the top with 88 points, four points clear of their fierce rivals, Notts County.

Phil Parkinson’s side extended the league lead after they rallied for an emphatic 4-0 win against Dagenham & Redbridge on Wednesday. A brace from Palmer and a goal from Jordan Turnicliffe and Jacob Mendy helped the Red Dragons clinch three points against the Daggers.

“I’m very pleased. I thought it was a strong all-round performance from us.” Phil Parkinson said after the game. “We had to respond from the weekend and we’ve done that. Four points from two potentially tricky away games is a good return. The result is great, but the manner of the display is right up there with as well as we’ve played on our travels this season,” he added.
