Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Reynolds has gained international fame for his roles in blockbuster movies such as Green Lantern, Deadpool, and Free Guy. As an actor, producer, and entrepreneur, he has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. However, in recent times, Ryan Reynolds has become known for more than just his on-screen talent. The Canadian-American actor has also gained attention for his ownership of Wrexham AFC.

Reynolds, along with Rob McElhenney, bought the team in 2020, and since then, they have been working tirelessly to take the team and the town to new heights. The duo has been committed to revitalizing the club and it paid off after Wrexham got promoted to EFL League Two after 15 years. Reynolds’ humorous personality has also been on full display since he took over Wrexham. The photo in question is a black-and-white image of the Wrexham AFC team from the 19th century. Reynolds took note of one particular player in the photo who resembled him in appearance. He even went as far as using arrows to indicate the similarities between himself and the player. Reynolds captioned the photo with a sarcastic quip, saying, “My first stint at Wrexham AFC about 130 years ago”.

While the picture is not very clear, the resemblance in face structure is uncanny. It’s possible that the actor’s connection to the club dates back further than anyone could have imagined. Whether it’s through a distant relative, a doppelganger, or a TARDIS (for all the Doctor Who fans), we can only joke along with Reynolds.
