FC Barcelona has been in a financial mess in recent times. With too many panic buys and overspending, Barcelona has gotten a lot of its plans wrong. However, Barcelona will be facing another financial strain after Lewandowski scores two more goals.

Lewandowski’s next two goals will cost FC Barcelona $1.36 Million

FC Barcelona has received a lot of criticism for their transfer strategy in recent times. The La Liga giants owe gigantic amounts of money to their debtors. Fans still cannot understand how FC Barcelona can still afford to buy players and pay their salaries. The simple reason is that it’s publicly known that the La Liga giants are in great financial turmoil.

FC Barcelona signed Robert Lewandowski for about $54 Million. However, the Catalan giants included additional clauses in the contract. And, one of those clauses will trigger itself in the near future. Blaugrana will have to pay around a whopping $1.36 Million to FC Bayern Munich after he reaches 25 goals for the season. Lewandowski has currently scored 23 goals.

The secret of how Barcelona manages to operate under such debt will always remain a mystery. Chelsea FC has also been recently spending their money in a haywire manner. Soccer fans accused Todd Boehly of money laundering after they couldn’t understand from where all the money came.

Barcelona’s whacky transfer strategy!

FC Barcelona literally signed players in wholesale during the last summer transfer window. Every fan thought that Raphinha moving to Barcelona would be the best thing ever. However, the move hasn’t been extremely successful yet. The former Leeds United winger still has to nail down a spot in Xavi’s starting XI on a consistent basis.
