Roberto Firmino clearly regarded his father highly, as the Al Ahli star dedicated a hugely complimentary section about him in his book, ‘Si Senor: My Liverpool Years’. But life could be so uncertain! The 62-year-old was seen earlier this week enjoying himself with his family members at an amusement park in Dubai. A week later, the mourning family is now working with the embassy in Brazil to get his body back. Firminio is also expected to travel to Brazil.
The passing of the father will no doubt impact him hugely. In an Instagram post, the ex-Liverpool star had one of the sweetest wishes for his father. He posted, “Happy birthday my pole! You are my hero, my inspiration, and my role model. Thank You for all the teachings. May the lord turn his face towards you and give you peace. I Love You.”
The soccer community no doubt will hope that Roberto Firmino recovers from the difficult news. After the news spread on social media, the fans immediately posted their condolences on social media.
