Wrexham AFC is a name that many soccer fans can’t get out of their mouths. The team has enjoyed colossal fame and success. The team was not having a good time until the Hollywood duo of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over the club. Both have taken the Welsh side to new heights.

Under the leadership of the owners, they have been getting their names into the headlines. Not only the men’s team, but the women’s side has also made quite a name for themselves. After recently clinching the trophy with the men’s team, it seems the owners have added yet another piece of silverware to their collection.

This year is perhaps the best season in Wrexham’s history. The club has won promotions not only with the main team but with both teams on the women’s side as well. However, it seems the trophy collection has increased as the men’s youth side has also clinched promotion. The youth side has been crowned National League Youth Alliance Division H champions.

The club posted about their achievements on Twitter with the captions, “Men’s First Team – National League champions, Women’s First Team – Adran North champions, Men’s Youth Team – National League Youth Alliance Division H champions, Women’s Under-19s – Adran U19s North champions. A season to remember, right across the Club.”

Their promotion became official after FC Halifax Town won the match against second-placed Bradford. The win has also given Wrexham a reason to celebrate more, as the club has won four out of four league titles in 2022/23. They have achieved promotion across all the men’s and women’s senior first teams and Under-19s teams.

This is indeed quite a moment in the club’s history, as all four promotions came in the same year. It is quite a noteworthy achievement to see all four teams win their respective competitions. All the teams will be looking to imitate the present success next year as well. However, the majority of the eyes will be on the first team, which is preparing for life in the Football League.

Ready to play in the Football League

It is indeed an impressive feat to achieve, as Wrexham won all four promotions. In addition to highlighting the men’s first team, they are also preparing for a new phase of their lives. Phil Parkinson’s side will now be playing in the EFL League 2. They will try everything in their power to clinch another promotion to the new league.

Back-to-back promotions are already something the Dragons have had in mind, but they aren’t a piece of cake either. For that to happen, the club is already looking to bolster its ranks. It’s definitely going to be a busy summer for them, as they’ll be planning to put their best face forward in front of their new rivals.
