As per ESPN, Messi told Urbana Play, “My Instagram was blocked for a few days because of the amount of messages I received after winning the World Cup…I had a million messages on Instagram and they blocked me”.

That was obviously the most crucial time for the Argentine star to reach out to his fans on social media. However, the fans seemed to have ‘broken’ the social media platform with their excessive loads of enthusiasm. The fans weren’t the only ones who were celebrating the World Cup win.
