Joana Sanz, who is the wife of former FC Barcelona defender Dani Alves, is facing tough days of her life. After the death of her mother, Alves got arrested for sexual assault charges. Now, the Spanish model has lost her beloved pet dog named Coco. She shared an emotional message on social media, mourning the death of her pet.

Alves is in prison since he was arrested on January 20 for sexual assault allegations by a young woman. The incident happened in a pub in Barcelona on December 30 last year. The complainant filed a complaint on January 2 this year, and police arrested the accused on January 20. 

Alves was playing for the Mexican top-division club UNAM when he got arrested. The club terminated the contract of the player after the news of his arrest. He signed a one-year contract with the club in June 2022 after leaving Spanish giants Barcelona last year.

“Goodbye, dear friend. Now you will be another star in the sky watching over me with mum,” Sanz wrote on her social media story after the death of her beloved pet Coco. “Rest in peace. Always in my heart,” she further added, sharing a video of Coco.

The businesswoman further shared a video of her pet with a wheelchair captioning she wants to donate the wheelchair to another dog who needs it. “I would like to donate her chair to a puppy that can’t walk. Contact me by email, please,” wrote the Spanish model. 

Ever since her post, her followers are sharing messages of support with one follower writing a letter to Sanz. She shared the letter on her social media, thanking the fan for his gesture. The model is currently in Paris, taking some time off from the painful situation, and wants to stay away from the media.

Sanz lost her mother last month. 29-year-old’s mother was in hospital awaiting surgery for cancer when she died. It absolutely broke her as they arrested her husband, Dani Alves, following sexual assault allegations in Barcelona.

She asked the media outside her house to have empathy and leave her alone in such troublesome times. The model also penned an emotional letter on Instagram in memory of her mother. After losing two pillars of her life, Sanz recently lost her pet and is mourning the death.
