One fan said the player is an example. He lost his father when he was ten and his brother when he was 12. The player underwent heart surgery at the age of 19. And now, at 28, he lost his mother to cancer. He has won La Liga with Atletico and World Cup with Argentina and is a champion soccer star.
Atletico is currently third in the La Liga table with 11 games remaining. They are in a powerful position to finish in the top four and qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. Correa will hope to help his team in the last period of the season.
