FC Barcelona is widely considered one of the biggest football clubs in the world. Having seen success in European competitions and domestic competitions, their superstars and trophies make them undisputed in soccer. However, it has recently been noticed that the Spanish giants have not yet subscribed to Elon Musk’s new Twitter policy.

For those who don’t know, the verified logo on Twitter is only for very special accounts and this has in the past included FC Barcelona as well. However, according to the Twitter policy post-Elon Musk takeover, a fee is now charged for the blue tick. A subscription-based platform called ‘Twitter Blue’ is where verified account holders can subscribe and pay a fee in order to have the blue tick.

However, as it stands, FC Barcelona doesn’t have the coveted blue tick on their Twitter account.

FC, Barcelona, one of the biggest clubs in the world at the moment, has not subscribed to Twitter Blue and hence doesn’t have the blue tick. This has also come at a time when the Catalan giants are already facing a huge financial crisis and are billions in debt.
