Morgan’s hilarious reply to Cristiano Ronaldo

The image on the Instagram post had Cristiano Ronaldo having a huge laugh with the MMA icon and asking the followers to post their captions. Remembering ten Hag’s comments last season, Morgan posted this reply, ‘Remember when ten Hag said I was the problem at United….’.

Morgan was one of the main people to provide a platform for Ronaldo to share his bitter experience under ten Hag. Ronaldo was benched in multiple matches last season, not getting to be a part of the starting eleven. This subsequently led to his frustration becoming clearly evident. The player did not hold back his feelings and walked out of the stadium against Tottenham Hotspurs in one of the Premier League games.

The issue escalated quickly, as Ronaldo never again found his spot in the starting eleven. This eventually led the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner to give that explosive interview to the British journalist. ten Hag, even though acknowledging Ronaldo’s greatness, said that he wasn’t at his best to play in the eleven. On the other hand, even fans were divided, with most of the United ones calling Ronaldo a problem after the interview. However, Morgan is the one who disagrees harshly with this opinion.

This is not the first time Morgan has hit out at United’s manager. Earlier in September, after United’s loss to Crystal Palace, Morgan tweeted a similar tweet, calling ten Hag to be the real problem at Manchester United. The Portuguese captain at that time was on the verge of winning his second player of the month in the Saudi Pro League.
