Fame, fortune, and two global icons as parents—Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez’s children seem to have it all. The five kids the couple share are no less than mini-celebrities in their own right. But who would have thought that their stardom would become the very reason they were denied admission to one of the most prestigious schools? Well, despite the money and power, Ronaldo’s kids had to hear no!

This report comes from the Spanish outlet AS, which states that both Georgina and Cristiano were spotted at Portugal’s St. Julian’s School. In their quest to provide the best education for their five children—Cristiano Jr., Eva Maria, Mateo, Alana Martina, and Bella—the star couple sought to enroll them in one of the most prestigious private institutions in CR7’s homeland. However, their application was rejected for a unique reason.

Ronaldo’s own fame is the reason why his kids won’t be able to get enrolled. The school fears that having CR7’s little one would raise privacy concerns. The presence of a high-profile family might draw unwanted media attention and disturb the academic environment for other students. “They don’t want the school to become the center of constant news and think that the presence of the couple’s children would change the daily dynamics of the center,” as stated by Olt Sports.

Considering Ronaldo’s popularity in his country, the Portuguese media and paps will surely surround themselves near the institute for most of the time. The reporters will expose even the slightest of the activists, including what time they arrive or depart from school. This also indirectly poses security threats to the school’s high academic standards and the exclusive environment, designed specifically for the children coming from Portugal’s elite families.

Currently, Ronaldo’s two boys and two girls are enrolled in a reputable school in Saudi Arabia. On the other hand, the youngest, Bella, is too young to start school but is growing up and may enroll in nursery next year. In the coming future, he plans to relocate with his family to his homeland.

The 39-year-old’s contract is also running in the summer of 2025. So far, Al Nassr hasn’t hinted at a contract extension, nor there remains a possibility for Ronaldo to move back to Europe and play, until, of course, he finds a suitable club. But what he does envisions is to settle permanently in Portugal. Yet, the latest blow over the admission of his kids seems to have spoiled all of his dreams.

Rejection of kids only adds misery to the future plans of Cristiano Ronaldo

The former Real Madrid superstar is currently constructing a lavish mansion in Cascais, near Lisbon. It is said that after hanging up his boots, Ronaldo will be spending his retirement days at his dream house. However, the 5x Ballon d’Or winner has endured such disappointment even before he moved back. Aside from his failure to get his kids into the best educational institutes in his country, he has also been facing difficulties in building his mansion.

Earlier, reports had suggested that even the neighbors in the Cascais aren’t liking the prospect of his arrival with family. The house hasn’t been completed yet, but several media and paps have already built their nest near his mansion. Also, several construction methods have left many neighbors frustrated. Indeed, this is no less than a nightmare for Ronaldo, who thought of living the best of his retirement days.

Regardless, it remains to be seen how he overcomes all these setbacks.
