After a lot of twists and turmoil, Kylian Mbappe and PSG have reconciled. Setting apart their differences with the Frenchman getting his name back on the starting eleven. The club’s social media account confirmed the reinstating of Mbappe back to their first-team squad. However, this might not be the final page of the Kylian Mbappe transfer saga.

The deadline for the summer transfer window is around the corner. Clubs and managers race to make their marquee signings as the window shuts on 1st September. Real Madrid was monitoring the situation and is said to make a last-ditch move for the French International.

The La Liga giants are said to be monitoring the situation around Kylian Mbappe for weeks. The club is now planning to make a late bid for the PSG player as per SportBild.  The La Liga club will wait till 29th-30th August before making a $130 million bid for the French international. Real Madrid reportedly wants to avoid getting back and forth on the negotiations and complicating things.

The French international has long been speculated to make the move. In the earlier transfer windows, there were rumors of him wanting to leave PSG to join the La Liga club but he eventually ended up staying. Some say it hurt Florentino Perez’s sentiments who was seen in a viral video stating to a supporter, “The poor guy, Mbappe must already be sorry.”

Real Madrid is in safe waters for now but they need to make a few signings. Strengthening their backline and frontline both by making some crucial signings would be the priority. The recent injury crisis has also been a big blow.

The aging squad of Real Madrid needs reinstitution. Signing Jude Bellingham early in the transfer window was a great addition. Although, the front line remains without any backup with only having signed Joselu on loan from RCD Espanyol. Florentino Perez is yet to comment on the Mbappe situation.

The La Liga club has been ridden with injuries recently. Thibaut Courtois hurt his ACL in training and is said to be out for at least six months. The club then signed Kepa on loan from Chelsea. Eder Militao also is out for six or more months facing ACL issues. Pep Guardiola has been critical of UEFA and FIFA over not having ample time between matches resulting in several injuries to players.
