Cristiano Ronaldo has aged like a fine bottle of wine. Despite being thirty-eight, the Al Nassr skipper continues to deliver the goods as he hasn’t skipped a single beat. The Al Nassr boss touched on multiple topics while talking to the media outlet OJogo. During the interview, Luis Castro opened up on the changes when it comes to fitness & training with better facilities, helping players improve over the years.
Castro stated, “Today, athletes are monitored in all ways. In a week with so many games, there is no strength and speed work, for example. And then, for example, Cristiano recovers differently than Sultan or Brozovic.”
He continued, “Some recover better on the bike, others in an ice-cold bath, and others doing nothing, but one thing is common: everyone recovers while sleeping. We work to get the best out of everyone, including Cristiano, creating context so that he can score many goals and assists.”
