Injuries have been a major issue for teams in the recent past. With spending more money, the absence of players with injuries can hurt the clubs in terms of sports and finances. One important factor for injuries is the lack of proper pitch conditions. A team that seems to be currently worried is Al Hilal, who is ready for its second AFC Champions League match. The talks don’t seem great with Neymar risk again under the scanner. The Brazilian had an off day yesterday which can impact his performance.
Al Hilal is the most successful team in Saudi with 18 league titles. However, the team did not win any major trophy last season and now will look to resume from where they left off in 2022. With many trophies, including the AFC Champions League, lined up, it is a great opportunity for Neymar to come back to his best.

The stadium hosted Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and Persepolis FC’s Champions League match earlier last week despite the skepticism of causing injuries. As Neymar’s goalless season for Al Hilal continued after four games, the focus would be mostly on him. The forward had the chance to break his shackles with a penalty, but could not convert it. Neymar seemed to have recovered from his ankle injury but would not want to get onto an injury-causing surface again.
Azadi Stadium, after its construction in 1971, hosted events like the Asian games and AFC soccer tournaments in the 70s. There was a demand for its renovation quite a few times, but could not get the needed attention again. The lack of facilities and infrastructure was also a concern for the stadium.
