In the past, popular music artists like Madonna, Beyonce, and Britney Spears have won it too. A source reports that she is also in talks for a live performance stating that it was a ‘massive deal’ for the Colombian icon. Recent times have not been the easiest for the singer.

While she’s still doing well with her music career, the Waka-Waka singer has been ironing out some aspects of her personal life. Shakira and her ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique recently came to an agreement after she questioned the soccer veteran’s commitment to meet his kids every month.

Shakira is on the verge of following the industry artist’s biggest footsteps

Big names are associated with the MTV Video Music Awards. Sources from the Sun claim that Shakira could win big at the VMAs. Reportedly, she is gearing up to receive the prestigious Video Vanguard Award. Also, she is in negotiations to perform a medley of her biggest hits in New York next month. The source continued, “This is a massive deal for Shakira”.

“It is about celebrating her entire career and the mark she has had on music globally. The deal isn’t done yet. If you accept the award, you have to give a major performance, so they are still working out the details”. Most likely, this will not be the only award she wins next month. The music artist has appeared as a nomination for four other potential awards too including Best Collaboration and Artist of the Year.

She’s been in and around the pop circuit for more than three decades. The Hips Don’t Lie singer is strongly striding forward. She parted ways with her former partner last year but that didn’t stop her. It seemingly motivated her to create better and deeper hard-hitting awards. At this point, she is a veteran in the industry who has become a role model for millions of people.

One of Shakira’s main concerns was that her kids have traveled more than 60 hours during this summer vacation. Apart from that, the Waka-Waka singer isn’t best pleased when Milan and Sasha spend time at their grandparent’s home. The music artist reportedly claims that if Pique doesn’t have the time or bandwidth he should drop the kids back to Miami. Their separation agreement does allow the kids to stay at a third party’s home.

Also, the kids cannot come in contact with Clara Chia Marti. Since the beginning, Shakira has been hellbent that he follows the same. After a tedious summer vacation, the singer questioned his efforts to meet the kids. In response to the same, the retired defender completely agreed and accepted her complaints. Reportedly, he himself flew to Miami this time to pick Milan and Sasha up.
