PSG’s head coach, Luis Enrique, may have ruptured his equation with Kylian Mbappe by prematurely calling him back to the bench during the game against Marseille last Sunday. This episode transpired after Enrique remarked that he hoped Mbappe would extend his stay at PSG. Well, reducing Mbappe’s playtime is only likely to fuel his exit rather than make him stay. Meanwhile, the Frenchman’s potential next suitor, Real Madrid’s front office, is believed to be delighted about the ongoing tussle in Paris.
The Kylian Mbappe-Luis Enrique fiasco became the talking point in the latest episode of the Spanish program El Chiringuito. Speaking about the same, renowned journalist Josep Pedrerol said Real Madrid is pleased about Enrique’s treatment of Mbappe.
“At Madrid, they are delighted with how Luis Enrique is taking care of and dosing Mbappe,” Pedrerol said. The journalist, perhaps, hinted that Mbappe’s unhappiness about Enrique’s decisions might prompt him to confirm his Madrid switch at the earliest.

Speaking to Prime Video, Luis Enrique said, “It’s tiring. I’m the coach; I make decisions every day. And that’s what I’m going to do until my last day at PSG. I always try to find the best solution for Paris. Sometimes I can be wrong but those are my choices.”
It’s only natural for a coach to feel frustrated when the soccer fraternity constantly questions his decision to substitute the PSG icon. Notably, Mbappe’s substitution proved fruitful to PSG in the game against Marseille. Goncalo Ramos, who replaced the 25-year-old, scored PSG’s second goal in their 2-0 victory against Marseille.
