Wrexham superstar unfazed with his salary discussions
Paul Mullin came from Cambridge United in 2021. Rob McElhenney was phenomenal in bringing the League Two Golden Boot winner to Wrexham for the 2021-22 season. Wrexham striker spoke to GQ Magazine. On the question about the discussions about his six-digit salary, Mullin said, “No, it’s no one’s business, really. I find it quite funny that people care.” “I don’t say to my best mate who is a joiner, ‘How much do you get paid?’ It’s irrelevant, but for some reason, when it comes to football, people care about it,” he added.
“I’m grateful I have a decent contract. Obviously, you always want it to be better. I can give Albi a better chance in life as he gets older. That’s all that matters,” the Wrexham star said. The Red Dragons will rely on their highest-paid player next season in League Two to create magic.
