England started their FIFA World Cup campaign with a big 6-2 win over Iran. Captain Harry Kane had two goal contributions from the win big win. However, Gareth Southgate substituted him in the 2nd half due to an injury scare. Kane suffered a knee injury during the game and was replaced by Callum Wilson, who went on to assist England’s sixth goal.

However, Kane has been in the headlines lately due to English FA’s decision to wear the ‘One Love’ captain’s armband during the World Cup. But later, ahead of the competition, due to fear of a booking, FA took a U-turn and Kane wore a different armband.

Kane’s watch is Rolex Daytona ‘Rainbow’ 116595RBOW with 18k rose gold. It is one of the most demanded watches in the world and had 36 baguette-cut rainbow sapphires along with 56 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The watch’s retail price is $135.85k, but the market price has shot u to $650k. It was first released back in 2012 and has gained popularity in the past decade. It wasn’t the most demanded watch at the time of launch, but now is among the most sought-after Rolex watches.

However, the watch’s importance is triple fold here considering Qatar’s ban on LGBTQ protests inside the stadium. Teams wearing the ‘One Love’ captain’s armband were afraid of a booking for their captain at the start of the game. So the FA decided against their wearing that armband. However, Germany protested FIFA’s decision by ‘hand on mouth’ ahead of their loss to Japan.
